Provides functionality to access & share the catalog data among applications running on a single computer in real time. This is consists of two parts:

• A Windows service named Bentley Structure Catalog Service
• Catalog Data – Consists of SQL Compact database files & XML files

The server opens a communication channel over a named pipe. [End point address : net.pipe://localhost/ScoreServer] It is not intended that you communicate with server directly, one should always use "Bentley Structure Property Catalog Client Library" to communicate with the server. The server provides a virtual server to each and every connection that has been made to the server. This virtual server is responsible to manage the integrity of the shareable data.
